The Art House was traditionally built using a variety of local volcanic stones in the 1970s as a vacation home and artists’ residence for my parents, a couple of renowed Greek painters. The interiors and garden are an extension of the family’s craft with paintings, sculptures, coloured doors, collections of objets d’art and natural objects. Please handle them with care.

The Art House
The house has served as a filming location for major international feature films, the latest one being Austrian box office hit “Griechenland” (2022). The surrounding area is left untouched with the natural volcanic boulders and slopes, the wild vegetation and fauna of the island so small children would need adequate supervision and people not familiar with life in the countryside might want to be more careful.
